WHO WE ARE
Mayur Infra and Energy is a service provider based in Odisha. We design, install and support rooftop solar systems for homes and businesses across the state. This policy explains what we do with personal information collected through mayurenergy.com, through our enquiry forms, and in the course of surveying, installing and servicing a solar system.
For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the data fiduciary for the information described below. Our registered address is Golei Chhak, Karanjia, Keonjhar, Odisha 757037 and you can reach us on the contact details at the end of this page.
WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We only ask for what we need to answer your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to design and install your system. That falls into three groups.
Information you give us directly
Your name, phone number, WhatsApp number and e-mail address
The address of the property where the system would be installed
Details from your electricity bill, such as your consumer number, sanctioned load and monthly units consumed
Roof details, photographs of the roof, and any site notes we take during a survey
Anything else you choose to tell us in a message or on a call
Information needed for a scheme application
If you ask us to help with a PM Surya Ghar application, that process needs identity and bank details, including Aadhaar and the bank account the subsidy is paid into. You enter these on the national portal yourself. We do not store your Aadhaar number or your banking credentials, and we will never ask you to send them over WhatsApp or e-mail.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our host records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you viewed and the time of the visit. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

To apply for net metering with your distribution company and, where you ask us to, to assist with a PM Surya Ghar application

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. If we ever want to use your project photographs or a testimonial in our own marketing, we will ask you first.
CONSENT AND YOUR CHOICES
We collect your information on the basis of the consent you give when you submit an enquiry form, message us, or ask us to act on your behalf. You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. If you withdraw consent while work is in progress, we may not be able to continue with the installation or the scheme application, and we may still need to keep certain records to meet legal obligations.

The National Portal for Rooftop Solar, where you have asked us to support a PM Surya Ghar application
Our installation team and any subcontractor working on your site
Suppliers and manufacturers, where a warranty claim needs module or inverter serial numbers
Our accountants and, if the law requires it, government authorities
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Enquiries that do not turn into a project are kept for up to two years, so that we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us. Records relating to an installed system are kept for the life of the warranty and for as long as tax and statutory rules require, because we may need them to support a warranty claim years later. After that we delete them or remove anything that identifies you.
HOW WE PROTECT IT
This website is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is limited to the people in our team who need it. We ask our staff not to move customer details onto personal devices or accounts. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is completely safe, but if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to:
Ask what personal information we hold about you and how it is being used
Ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete or out of date
Ask us to erase information we no longer need
Withdraw your consent to our using it
Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to act
Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with how we handled it
Write to us using the details below and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on a request.
COOKIES
This site uses only the cookies needed to make pages load correctly and to keep the site secure. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to ad networks. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
CHILDREN
Our services are meant for property owners and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of the page tells you when it was last revised. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear on this page.
